Lend Me Your Heart by ~hollivay:iconhollivay:

Lend me your hand
So I can pick my bruised body up.

Lend me your eyes
So I can see the good in myself.

Lend me your ears
So I can hear you call for help.

Lend me your mouth
So I can speak words I've never spoken.

Lend me your heart
So I can love.

I support Art In Class and of course, great writing.

Me too! And these poems wouldn't be any good without the help of my revisor/editor, awesomedaisy27. She's always there for revising my poems during math. :)

Simplistic, but I like it. I'd like to see this expanded though: I think the concept of using someone else's attributes for one's own purposes has a lot of depth to it, and you could do a lot more with it than just what you have here. :)
:iconhollivay:
Definitely. I kind of thought it was a little short but I'll try and add on a few more stanzas.

The concept is pretty good, in my opinion. But I also agree with Penfencer: try to expand this few verses and this could be much better :-)

Yeah. I'm definitely going to try.

Yes, indeed. I'm working on it.
